December 2025 | In This Month’s Spotlight
Highlighted this month is Kimberly Bannister, a leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate whose resilience, reinvention, and unwavering service continue to motivate and inspire all who cross her path. Through her work, she reminds us that rising is a choice, rebuilding is possible, and purpose can emerge from even the hardest seasons of a life fully lived.
🔷 December Spotlight: Kimberly Bannister 🔷
This month, we shine the Spotlight on Kimberly Bannister — daughter, wife, mother, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a woman who has rebuilt her life more than once with clarity, courage, and purpose. Her story is not neat or polished; it is lived. It is a testament to what happens when resilience becomes a discipline and service becomes a calling.
Rising Through Loss, Leading Through Purpose
With more than 30 years of federal government leadership experience in operations, strategy, human capital, and internal controls, Kimberly built a respected career rooted in accountability and execution. Yet her deepest strength was forged outside the workplace — in caregiving, grief, and rebuilding after profound personal loss. She is proof that a life can fracture and still expand.
Through all of it, she kept moving. She kept building. She kept serving.
A Builder of Businesses and Brighter Futures
Kimberly is the founder of:
Bannister Business Solutions
Bannister Home Solutions
KB Tax Services
And in January 2026 — her unified brand, BridgePoint Strategy & Wealth Group
Under BridgePoint, Kimberly brings together her expertise as a Fractional COO, tax professional, credit specialist, and real estate advisor to help individuals, families, and organizations regain stability and momentum. Her work is grounded in one belief: financial empowerment is the gateway to confidence, clarity, and generational change.
A Heart Rooted in Service
Kimberly is not simply a businesswoman. She is a giver.
She serves as a Facilitator and Mentor for the Dream Queen Foundation’s Gals Lead Program, shaping young girls into confident, intentional leaders. She also serves on the foundation’s Board of Directors as Treasurer, supporting its mission to uplift women and girls through education, empowerment, and connection.
Her community service includes:
Volunteering at local soup kitchens
Supporting outreach programs for underserved families
Showing up where help is needed — without needing applause for doing it.
Championing Economic Empowerment
Kimberly currently serves as Director, St. Mary’s County Economic Development Committee for NAACP 7025, leading efforts to:
Empower minority-owned businesses
Expand financial literacy
Increase access to resources in banking, legal support, home ownership, marketing, and more
She also serves on the St. Mary’s County Commission for Women, advocating for equity, visibility, and opportunity for women across the county.
Her leadership is not theoretical. It is local, practical, and community-first.
A Voice of Truth, Transparency, and Transformation
Kimberly is a speaker and mentor who does not sugarcoat her story. She shares her truth plainly — her losses, her lessons, and the long road to finding purpose again. Her authenticity gives others permission to confront their own challenges and begin again.
Her workshops, coaching, and entrepreneur development programs help aspiring business owners:
Build structure
Strengthen strategy
Find clarity
And claim a future they can stand on
